The exhibition Logistics 2021 is taking place in India via a digital platform from February 25 to March 24. VIA LATVIA is participating in the exhibition and representing Freeports of Riga, Ventspils, Liepaja, as well as, the Latvian Railway, Riga International Airport, Latvijas Pasts and other transport and logistics companies.

VIA LATVIA digital stand presents Latvian transport and logistics industry and companies while promoting safe, fast and efficient services and solutions for cargo, including e-commerce cargo transportation, storage and distribution through Latvia.

India is one of Latvia's bilateral trade partners of goods and services in Asia.  Latvia is interested in co-operation with India, continuing to develop tourism, trade, transport and logistics services.

Additionally, the Freeports of Riga, Ventspils and Liepaja offer distribution of goods within 24 to 48 hours to Northern Europe, Scandinavia and Western Europe.

Latvian Railway provides several railway routes with Asian countries - both on the basis of the existing train lines of “Baltika-Tranzit” and “Riga-Ekspresis”, in addition to proven connections with Chinese and Kazakh cities, as well as, the new South-North connection with high development potential.

Riga International Airport has become one of the leading regional aviation centres for passenger traffic in Northern Europe, including serving regular e-commerce cargo charter flights from China to Europe, Russia, Belarus, Ukraine and other countries.

The concept of VIA LATVIA unites the main companies and services of the industry and jointly promotes bilateral and multilateral cooperation to attract foreign investment for the modernization and development of transport and logistics infrastructure, expand industrial parks in port areas, as well as cooperate with foreign partners in organizing supply chains and multimodal cargo deliveries through Latvia.
