Regular liner services to/from the port of Riga

In order to attract cargos and services to the Port, Riga Freeport gives a status of regular shipping liner to container, Ro-Ro and passenger transport. Regular shipping liner status provides rebates on all Port Dues depending on the number of calls of the liner to the port within the limits of one calendar year. The procedure of applying a regular liner status and rebates is provided in the Port Dues and Charges of the Freeport of Riga.
In 2011 there were 7 regular container liners, providing a total of 452 liner calls to the port and a cargo turnover exceeding 304 273 TEU.
In 2011 the regular passenger liner Tallink joined the Riga Freeport regular liner list.
In 2017 Riga Freeport has signed agreements with 7 container liners and one passenger liner.
